Olonana
Olonana is a small luxury camp harmonically nestled on the banks of the Mara River. Accommodation is offered in 12 double tents each tastefully appointed with two-queen size beds, ensuite bathrooms and river-view verandahs where guests can relax and watch the resident hippos wallowing. The main cottage’s lounge and dining area offer a ‘home from home’ feel, enhanced by the hosts and the resident safari guides. Its beautifully decorated and furnished lounge area with a wooden outdoor deck overlooks the Mara River and is the setting for memorable open air breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Richard's Camp
7 en-suite tents, 4 Doubles, 3 Twins
Richard’s Camp is a traditional tented camp in true African safari style with a few modern surprises. Each individually decorated tent has either twin or double beds with triple rooms available for families upon request. The solar system provides clean, silent power and 24-hour light to all the tents. All of the 7 large and spacious custom-designed tents feature an en-suite flush toilet and shower - rarely has sleeping under canvas been made so comfortable.
Mara Serena Lodge
Set on a high ridge in The Masai Mara National Reserve, The Mara Serena Safari Lodge offers some of the most spectacular views in Kenya. It is on this very terrain that the annual migration takes place when millions of zebra, wildebeest and gazelle cross the plains below, on their way to the rich new grasses of the Serengeti. Mara Serena is a modern interpretation of a traditional African Village of domed huts, spaced apart to allow guests an uninterrupted view of the landscape. Accommodation consists of 74 guest rooms, 2 with double beds and the remainder with twin beds. The main dining with its attractive multi-domed ceiling offers sumptuous international menus, buffets and barbecues as well as authentic Africa dishes. The Lodge has an outdoor pool as well as a full service lounge and bar.
Sarova Mara Camp
A Safari in Kenya’s famous Maasai Mara game resewrve, with its amazing variety of wild animsla, captures the true spirit of East Africa. Sarova Mara offers a unique opportunity to experience a tented safari. There are 75 luxurious tents, with permanent roofs and floors and their own bathroom, set amid lush gardens and exotic flowers. The resort has its own swimming pool with poolside bar. There is also an excellent restaurant, a second bar and permanent barbecue. A variety of dining experiences are on offer including bush, boma garden, pool barbeque and salt lick. Walking safaris can be arranged.
Mara Sopa Lodge

Mara Simba Lodge
The Mara Simba lodge is nestled behind many trees overlooking a spectacular bend on the bank of the Talek River in the Mara. It is comfortable and decorated in Maasai traditional style and has a restaurant and bar area standing on stilts with a view of the river which 'houses' both hippos and crocodiles. Wide, well-lit pathways connect the public areas and rooms. Accommodation is offered in 84 rooms each of which has a magnificent view of the Talek River and the surroundings from the veranda. The restaurant and bar offer an excellent choice of meat dishes and vegetarian menus. Activities include balloon safaris, bird watching on foot, night game drives with bush dinner and breakfast.
Keekorok Lodge
Keekorok is ideally located in the vast sweeping plains of the Maasai Mara directly in the path of the spectacular migration of wildebeest and zebra. It boasts an abundance of wildlife and offers a possibility of seeing all of the "Big Five" during a morning or afternoon game drive. Accommodation is in 100 small but well lit rooms with a good view of the surrounding plains. A special feature is the bar overlooking a hippo pool
Mara Intrepids Club
Sitting above a sweeping bend in the Talek River at the confluence of the Maasai Mara’s four game-viewing areas, Mara Intrepids enjoys one of the most spectacular locations in the Maasai Mara ecosystem. The camp is a short drive from the Mara River, where more than a million wildebeest and zebra make their perilous migration crossing every July and August. There are 30 luxury tents are widely spread across a large riverside site to ensure privacy for each guest. Tents are furnished in classic safari style, with four-poster beds and modern en suite bathrooms. Each tent sits on a shady raised platform with views over the river banks, where a wide variety of animals come to drink. Activities include guided game drives, escorted walking safaris outside the reserve, bush breakfasts and dinners under the stars; and visits to neighbouring Masai communities. Balloon safaris can also be arranged.
Mara Explorer
Located on a broad, thickly forested bend of the Talek River in the middle of the Maasai Mara National Reserve, The Mara Explorer is widely regarded as one of the Maasai Mara’s most luxurious and well appointed camps. It has 10 luxurious tents, each with an allocated personal butler on call 24hrs a day. Some guests can even view game from their outdoor ‘elephant-eye’ level bathtubs on the decks of 5 of the 10 tents. Additionally, guests can enjoy morning and evening game drives, walking safaris, bush breakfasts and dinner or romantic sundowners in selected riverside or hilltops locations. Mara explorer is an eco-friendly camp with all non-degradable waste sent to Nairobi and water is heated using coffee husks.
Mara Safari Club
Your base for the adventure is the Mara Safari Club which is located on an ox-bow of the Mara River at the foot of the Aitong Hills and bordering the Maasai Game Reserve. Accommodation is in 50 luxurious en suite all with their own private river frontage, allowing guests a view of the hippo-filled river from their own veranda. There are 45 standard tents and 5 premium tents; all with netted four –poster beds, electricity and permanent bathrooms. The main building with dining room, lounge, and bar is cantilevered over the river. The dining room offers a cosmopolitan menu of European, African and Asian dishes using fresh local produce. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style, while dinner is table d’hote.
Siana Springs Intrepids
Taking its name from the largest natural springs in the area, Siana Springs, or 'the plentiful springs' in the Maa language, is on the eastern edge of the Maasai Mara National Reserve at the base of ‘Ngama Hills’. This luxurious tented camp offers 38 spacious tents arranged in 3 secluded wings: The Bamboo Wing, The Palm wing and the Acacia Wing. All tents have large single or double beds, personal closets and writing desks and en suite bathrooms with flush toilets and steaming hot showers. Other facilities include a free-form swimming pool and a private conference tent.
Kichwa Tembo tented Safari Camp
Kichwa Tembo is an oasis of 40 spacious Hemingway-style tents shaded by dense forest canopy. Each luxurious tent has a private deck with sweeping views of the magnificent grassland or the Sabaringo River. There is an en suite bathroom with shower, stone floors and soft lighting. Each tent stands at least eight metres away from the next, ensuring absolute seclusion. There is a generously-sized swimming pool from which guests can watch game while cooling off. Guest areas include a convivial bar and dining room, and a well-stocked Safari Shop. The camp is set among the forests just below the spot where a famous scene from Out of Africa was filmed.
Bateleur Camp

Main Governor's Camp
The Main Governors camp was once reserved exclusively for Kenya’s Colonial Governors for distinguished visitors hence the name ‘Governors’. The camp nestles in the small forest along the banks of the Mara River, its waters teeming with hippo and crocodiles. Some of the 36 tents line the riverbank, with uninterrupted views over the Mara River, others have views across the sweeping plains. Created in 1972 Governors’ Camp set new standards in luxury for a tented camp. Today it’s still Africa’s best and everything is under canvas. Guests stay in well-appointed tents, each with their own bathroom. Evenings are devoted to cocktail around a bonfire and dinner by candlelight. "Governors’ Camp is a site popular with both animals (who come to the river to drink) and people.
Little Governor's Camp
The Governors Camp, intimate in character, comprises just 17 tents tucked around a large watering-hole alive with animal and bird life. Getting to the camp is an adventure in itself, as guests first have to cross the Mara River by boat, then walk a short distance, escorted by armed guards, through the forest. All the tents are comfortable and tasteful. Each has en-suite bathroom, hot water, even bidets. In keeping with safari tradition lighting is by gas and kerosene lantern or candlelight. As dusk falls the flickering lights in the forest make the camp a uniquely peaceful and atmospheric place. Meals are of high standard, served outdoor during the day or inside by candlelit dining tent.

Cottars Classic Safari Camp is the Cottars family’s original luxury mobile camp with flushing toilets. Located in the same part of the Maasai Mara as Cottars. 5 tents, furnished with 1920’s antiques, all with en-suite dressing rooms/bathrooms with canvas baths and bucket showers.
David Livingstone Safari Resort
The David Livingstone Safari Resort is situated to the northeast of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in the Koiyaki Lemek Wildlife Sanctuary on a broad bend with hippo pools on the Mara River. The lodge is set in 40 acres of tropical gardens with indigenous plants and botanical gardens. 75 Double and Twin Rooms of which 7 are interconnecting with electricity, hot and cold running water and Verandah. Rooms face the Mara River. The resort has Two bed roomed Suites with living room, TV and DVD Player for those wanting something more from their visit to Maasai Mara.
Elephant Pepper Camp
Elephant Pepper Camp is located in the middle of this 3600 sq km wilderness. It is situated within the protected Koiyaki wilderness area, away from other lodges. In order to preserve this special area the camp is seasonal and is completely dismantled for three months of the year. Our spacious canvas tents, with an en suite dressing room, flush toilets and safari showers are comfortably furnished. There are 8 tents with en-suite bathrooms, ‘safari’ hot showers and flush toilets, comfortable verandas, 3 tents with double beds, 4 tents with twin beds, Honeymoon tented suite with king size double bed.
Fig Tree Camp
Fig Tree Camp is situated along the Talek River on the northern border of the Mara game reserve. Part of the adventure is that guests can choose to stay in either tent or cabin. The camp has a total of 75 spacious rooms and tents; all en-suite with private balcony, with views over the national reserve. Accommodation is provided in 38 tents and 22 cabins with double and single beds; and five twin-bedded cabins. The royal tents (10 executive tent suites) are the latest addition to Fig Tree camp. The luxury tents are complete with four-poster beds, butler service and spectacular views of the Mara Reserve. Facilities include two bars, main dining room, an open air dining area, a tree house/coffee deck, a swimming pool, a curio shop, a video room and guest lecture facilities as well as a medical clinic with resident nurse. Based at the Fig Tree Camp is Adventures Aloft with daily Balloon departures which at a quite hefty extra charge offer a bird’s eye view of the Maasai Mara - especially rewarding during the time of the annual migration which can be best seen from the air.

Governors IL Moran Camp
Governors Il Moran is small but offers one of the top-of-the-range tented accommodation. There are just 10 tents. Each spacious tent has a very private location and is furnished to a superior standard. Stunning beds are handmade from specially selected wood taken from ancient olive trees. Large en-suite bathrooms have flush toilets, a lovely big shower with piping-hot water, and a Victorian bath to wash the day’s dust away. Every tent has an extended veranda. They’re designed so guests can take dinner in the privacy of their tent. Birds and butterflies abound, elephants wander through the camp, at night leopard call nearby. During the day, meals are served under the shady trees. Deep in the bush, cordon-bleu dinners by candlelight are a truly unforgettable experience.
Governors Private Camp
Governor’s Private Camp is for those that want something exclusive. As the name suggests, it’s private – It can only booked by one family or a group at a time. That means up to 16 people have a beautiful bend of the Mara River to themselves. The camp is located at a spot where animals come to drink, hippos laze in the shallows and elephant bring their calves for a playful dip. The forest around the camp is home to many beautiful birds from rare trogan’s and turacos to nesting hornbills. Personal attention is the hallmark of a stay here. The tents are luxurious with handmade furniture. Private bathrooms have flush-toilets, hot showers, with crystal-clear water. Food is excellent – apart from champagne, the drinks are all free. Guests can even tailor their own menus with the camp’s executive chef.
Ilkeliani Camp
Ilkeliani is an exclusive tented camp for visitors who want a true bush experience. Camp environs have been intentionally preserved to as to feel, as close as possible, to nature. The camp is centrally located within the Maasai Mara eco-system. Ilkeliani has 15 tents with each guest tent positioned on the edge of the Talek River looking out onto the Masai Mara plains. Guest tents are also well spaced out thereby ensuring that guests have maximum privacy. Lighting is provided by solar power and all tents are ensuite with flush toilets and hot water showers 24 hours (we use a recycled by-product as fuel to keep the boilers hot). Dine al fresco day and night in candlelight by night, with fine wines and gourmet meals.
Kicheche Camp
The camp prides itself on offering a friendly and relaxing stay, with our hosts treating you as welcome guests, not mere travel statistics. To maintain this intimate and relaxed atmosphere there is a maximum of twenty two guests at any time.
Each tent is comfortably furnished with an en-suite bathroom and flushing toilet, low wattage lighting is supplied 24 hours. The majority of the tents are in secluded positions overlooking the plains and nearby hills, while others are closer together for families or friends. The spacious Nyati tent acts as the camp lounge with comfortable seating, a library, board games, cards and local crafts.
Mara Safari Club
The Mara Safari Club is set by the Mara River at the foot of the Aitong Hills bordering the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Surrounded on three sides by the Mara River, all forty tents have their own private river frontage with a viewing deck from where guests can enjoy watching hippos climb the banks as well as listen to them as "talk" to each other. Occasionally elephants wander past to drink the water and during the migration period large herds of wildebeest can be sometimes observed attempting to cross the river nearby. The main building with lounge, bar and dining room also provides a superb vantage point to view the resident hippos and the amazing riverine bird life.
Mpata Safari Club
With emphasis on comfort and a unique
combination of interior design, the Suites have a lounge, kitchenette and best of all, an outdoor Jacuzzi in addition to bedroom, bathroom, and verandahs. Amongst the herds and their attendant predators out on the Savannah, You can observe Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Hippopotamuses and so on.
Ol Seki Mara Camp
Set on a wonderful rocky promontory, overlooking the sweeping Isupukiai River, Eastern Koiyaki, north of the Mara, provides a rare opportunity to enjoy wildlife. This oasis of inspired and beautifully designed tents is nestled amongst Cordia and Acacia trees attracting an abundance of wildlife and birds, many of which are seen from the tents in the valley below. The simple modern architecture creates an exciting living space in the six light and roomy tents, each with a double and a single bed, a changing room and en suite hot showers and flush toilets.
Rekero Tented Camp & Cottages
Situated in the Maasai Mara Conservation area, at the foot of Kipeleo hill in the Lemek Valley at an altitude of 6,200 feet. The Cottages - three double and one family with two double rooms. All cottages are ensuite and look onto the infamous Rekero waterhole, the scene of many dramatic wildlife incidents. The Cottages run on a 220 volt generator from 6am to 7am and again from 6pm to 11pm. Night drives, cultural visits, bush picnics and visits to local trading centres also feature. REKERO TENTED CAMP Located inside the Mara Game Reserve at an altitude of 4,800 feet, very close to the confluence of the Mara and Talek rivers. The camp, with six spacious double tents all ensuite, including flush toilets, nestles in riverine forest on the banks of the Talek river.
Saruni Lodge
Saruni is the new, deluxe and intimate lodge set in a private conservation area outside the Maasai Mara National Reserve, the most famous game park in Africa. Each cottage has hot and cold running water, 220 volt electricity, elegant Italian bathroom fittings, polished wooden floors, and large bathrooms where the canvas front can be totally open to offer you an amazing "shower with a view".
Sekenani Camp
Sekenani Camp is situated on the boundary of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve at the very heart of the big game country in southern Kenya. Comprised of fifteen exceptionally well-designed tents, it is the smallest permanent tented camp in the Maasai Mara. It is known for it's magnificent setting, excellent cuisine and what are probably the most comfortable tents in Africa.
The camp is built at the source of the Sekenani River which rises from a rock pool at the east end of the camp and forms the stream which flows in front of each tent. The tents themselves are large and raised off the ground on platforms. Each one is secluded and set into the bush in such a way as to ensure privacy. The en suite bathroom, replete with a full-length bath, make these among the most beautifully appointed tents in Africa.
Shompole Mara Camp
Shompole is on the side of the Nguruman Escarpment, in south eastern Kenya, overlooking the expanse of the Great Rift Valley and the Shompole Mountain from which it takes its name. It is situated between the Maasai Mara and Maasai Mara National Parks, and is also just north of the Tanzanian border and Lake Natron.
Accommodation within the camp is in stylish spacious and classic safari tents on canvas, wood and neutral safari colours. They include 6 tents, 5 doubles and 1 twin room all en-suite with flush toilets, pull shower plus a large airy seating area and a veranda. Shompole Mara Camp is located among grass plains & glades of acacia trees.
Sala’s Camp
Sala’s Camp has the good fortune to be located on the convergence of 2 rivers, and in the heart of the Mara. They have been operating luxury mobile safaris in East Africa for the last twelve years. During the Great Wildebeest Migration in the months of early July to end October, Sala’s Camp is ideally located since many of the animals move back and forth from the Serengeti in search of lush grasslands in the Mara. The game viewing during this time is exceptional, with dramatic river crossings and attendant predators. The camp also lies adjacent to a designated Rhino conservation area.
Accommodation is in 7 en-suite tents, one being a large family/honeymoon tent comprising of a double room with central sitting area. Tents are either twin or double. The spacious luxury furnished tents have en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets & safari bucket showers with plenty of hot water. Electricity is solar powered (via invertors), giving all tents plenty of light. There is a standby generator for refrigeration and to charge any equipment, cameras etc
