Lake Naivasha Country Club opened in 1937 as a staging post for Imperial Airways' flying boat service from Durban to London. The 55-acre property boasts green lawns shaded by mature acacias and spreading fever trees, that stretch down to the lake's shore. The hotel offers a wonderful mix of tranquility in serene surroundings and a varied number of sporting activities for both the energetic and the more laid back. There's a swimming pool and conference facilities for up to 50 people. The highest of the Rift Valley lakes, Naivasha lies at about 1880 m. The lake level varies quite considerably - in 1926 it was reported 6 m higher. Eons ago it was a great deal higher than that and its waters gushed through Njorowa gorge now high above the lake and the dramatic entrance to Hell's Gate National Park.

chui lodgeChui Lodge
The lodge is situated in the heart of the private and exclusive 18,000 acre Oserian Wildlife Sanctuary, and is home to an astonishing range of wildlife. It overlooks a busy waterhole with the Mau Escarpment as a backdrop.
Chui Lodge is crafted from simple bush stone, local Acacia, Leleshwa and Olive woods with a beautiful twisted Marula roof. The swimming pool also has great views of the waterhole and the Escarpment. Highly trained professional chefs deliver an exquisite array of cuisine. Fresh vegetables & dairy products are produced on the farm nearby and therefore obtained daily.
Accommodation consists of 8 exclusive luxury individual cottages. Each cottage has its own distinctive character, en-suite bathroom with marble basin tops and a delightful veranda with its own view. Crater Lake Camp
CRATER LAKECrater Lake is a secluded green soda lake at the bottom of an extinct volcano. The crater is home to colobus monkeys and flamingos.
In the depths of this paradise is a tented camp, Permanent tented camp with 23 beds in double bedded and twin bedded tents, including a honeymoon suite with a double Jacuzzi bath.

Located on the shores of Lake Naivasha, Elsamere is the former home of the Late Joy and George Adamson famous for their relationship with the lioness Elsa, as told in the book and subsequent movie 'Born Free'. A memorial room has been set aside with some of Joy's paintings. By staying at Elsamere you have the opportunity to visit local conservation projects and a chance to experience life in one of Kenya's historic homes.
Accommodation is offered in eight relatively simple and rather dark rooms facing the Lake. Morning boat rides are ideal to spot the many species of waterfowl, brilliantly colored kingfishers, a family of Hippos and a few snake species and in the night, you might occasionally have a Hippo grazing beside you room.n

The Great Rift Valley Lodge sits at about 7,000 feet, from which elevation it enjoys magnificent views to the west and east. Kiangazi House is located in the 3,000-acre Oserian Game Corridor. With delightful lush gardens littered with colour, rolling lawns and a view to compliment the beautiful setting, it’s ironic that “Kiangazi” is the Swahili word meaning “hot and dry season”. This delightful country house overlooks Oloidien Bay and part of Lake Naivasha. A salt lick and water hole is excellently located at the bottom of the garden for animals to congregate at. Accommodation consists of 5 rooms. Each room has its own distinctive character with en-suite bathroom. Three of the rooms (1 twin, 2 doubles) are inside the main house, one of these being the Ibis suite which has its own fireplace and mini-bar. 2 new garden rooms are situated outside the main house and have their own private verandas. (3 smaller annex rooms can be made available for larger groups).

Just outside the beautiful and large tropical garden, beyond the verandah and the peaceful swimming pool dwells a large part of Kenya's wild life that lives off the vast plains of the Great Rift Valley. On the hilly terrain and Maasai land are found many zebra, impala, giraffe and buffalo. Guests can take a game drive by 4WD vehicles or take guided walks. Boat drives are available on the lake among many hippos, flamingos and hundreds of other bird species in a bird watcher's paradise. Golf, fishing and visit to other parks can also be arranged.
