About Us

In the early 90’s, Jose Maria Roldan Aguirreche who is a Spanish National visited Kenya as a tourist. He fell in love with the beauty and the tourist attractions that this country has to offer. When he went back home, he developed a network of small sized but very faithful clientele and started bringing them to this country on safaris. He was their driver and guide and only did this as a hobby when he had free time from his busy schedules.
As the demand grew, He decided to turn this into a business and Get In Africa Safaris was founded in the year 2000. However, this was only to serve the Spanish market and operated only when Jose was available.

In the year 2005, Jose also known as ‘rafiki’ (meaning friend in Swahili) in the Kenya Tourism fraternity teamed up with two Kenyans - one of them, Ms. Eunice Fatuma Kimbwarata (a Professional and distinguished Tours consultant) and registered Get In Safaris Company Limited in Kenya. This was necessary in order to attract a wider market - both locally and abroad.

Get In Safaris Company Limited now has offices along Waiyaki Way, Westlands area of Nairobi City. Mr. Aquirreche serves as the Company Chairman & Chief Marketing Executive while Ms. Kimbwarata is the Director of Operations and Planning.
